Traditional and alternative health care for people suffering from stress?

Where traditional health care are those that society deems to be efficient and largely rely on medications and operations. Whereas alternative health care are those who rely less on medication and medical procedures.

I'm not sure if you ask for opinions on whether one is better than the other, or what kinds of these. I'll give it my best shot. There are medicines you can take the stress. Sometimes that is the only way people will let themselves be treated. I have read in some of the medical literature that people get antsy and excited when their doctor suggests that they may need to seek out the services of a psychiatrist or therapist. They want to take pills during the course of talk therapy. Therapy has proven to be as helpful as medication for stress and depression. Sometimes people need extra help from medication, but when used in connection with treatment, people seem to do better in the long term. Therapy, esp. stress, involves a person to learn what things cause stress, determine how your body reacts, and learn how to not get stressed. Since there is no medicine that can be alternative health, but the two happens more in tandem all the time. With respect to alternative medicine, even herbs and remedies that people are taking medication of some sort. Food is a drug. Acupuncture can be great for stress. Yoga is very effective as well. Exercise is a good antidote to stress. Alternative medicine also requires a person to relearn ways of living … how to eat and drink, what to eat and drink, reading of his life to see what to be amended. I think it can be very difficult to choose one approach over another. They both have their place and can be very useful when applied advisedly. I hope this makes sense.
