What is the best way to get your hands, feet and skin softer?

I have asked this question once before, but not get what some of the answers meant. Why can we not use lotion work? I've been using lotion for a while now, and Mary Kay extra emollient Night Cream for super dry skin. It seems a little, but my hands and feet are not really getting softer. I did the lotion socks and big pieces of skin started peeling my feet when I went swimming. I hate it, and after all the skin peeled off my feet were dry and rough in spots. (14 btw)

You have to address the issue from both sides of the fence. When it comes to skincare, there are resources and treatments involving the outside of the skin and inside of the skin. Talking with a dermatologist to see what the best solution for you. Fruits and vegetables are good sources of healthy skin. Make sure you do not scrub too hard when you wash. I have used a lotion for my hands because when the skin is starting to curl and break out when wet. It helped the pain go away and made my hands much smoother.
