Is it bad to spray hair spray on a hot curling iron?
Yesterday was my sister's Sweet Sixteen and she made arrangements for us to get our hair and makeup done. The hairdresser used a hot curling iron iron to make curls in our hair and then sprayed hair, while it was still of iron. It worried me, because I could see the liquid evaporate into the air as everyone was breathing. Is it bad to breathe that stuff, or am I just paranoid? After all it was a professional hairdresser, she would not be aware of the dangers of solvents in pressurized containers such as those with hair spray?
