Sage Essential

essential oils – cream or Nebulizer?
I wanted to make a mix with some essential oils for sleep (Chamomile, Bergamot, Clary sage, mandarin and lavender). it will work great in a cream, or should I Nebulizer it? I would love your input. thanks. I thought about a lotion or cream base is better than oil base for absorption through the skin. Anyway I wanted to make my own mixtures. thank-y Ahhhh, I was answering the wrong questions … By Nebulizer I mean a particular essential oil diffuser. Sorry confusion.
I would go with Nebulizer because it will give you a nice, steady controlled "dose". There is a misconception that essential oils are absorbed through skin, so there should be some added bonus by using a cream. Plus, if you sleep something I like, most of your body will be covered with blankets anyway and you will not get the best of oils. I think Nebulizer is your best option. On a side note about oils, have you tried them separately for sleeping? You can test each on a cotton swab placed next to the bed. Personally, bergamot and mandarin would keep me awake thinking, and Clary sage would give me crazy dreams!
