Im really pale and I want to get a bit of a tan, but I want it to look natural. Im worried that if I get a spray tan it will be obvious, but a lotion that will turn my palms, heels and knees orange. Help!

Both can make you look a little orange … but I would definitely prefer spray tan because they have different nuances, they can propose to your current color. Also, if you do this lotion yourself, yes, your heels, palms, and knees to be orange and you can have streaks of not rub it in completely. I myself just use a tanning bed, but I know some people refuse to do it … it would be my first choice because it lasts longer, but if you are not willing to go into a tanning bed will certainly make the spray tan.

I have a pretty good lotion tanner, but whatever how well it looks like anywhere else you can tell that I wear tanner on my feet and hands. Its not bad, but u can tell. I hate it! Personally I like Jerger Natural Glow. It is under $ 10 (I think around $ 7) You can find it at your local pharmacy, Target, grocery stores, Walgreens, Walmart, etc. I think it works really well. It also helps lock in your real tan. And it does not look like a fake tan, and it will not be orange, if you rub it in well! Just remember to wash your hands after use, or your hands will be orange!

best sunless self tanner lotion?

I've tried a lot of sunless tanners (Savage bronze, banana boat, Jerger, whipped chocolate), I have a couple fav's but none last more than 2 days or do not get all the white jerseys. I would like info from anyone who is hooked on their favorite brand. A appreciable lasting tan would be nice, but I do not want to look like an umpa lumpa. : O Thanks for your help:)

If you do not want to see orange, then you need to spend money for a good quality tanning lotion. St. Tropez is one of my favorites! Whatever brand you use it will always rub off on clothing if you put clothes on right away. To avoid that you must wait until it fully dries (try using a hairdryer on the body just after application). I sprinkle baby powder on my hands and rub it dry, if I go out straight after application. A do it yourself spray on tan is quite handy as well (and instant) go to Letan which should be at most supermarkets.

Hello everyone! I used to tan all the time and kept up to date on lotions, etc. But when I met my the other, and slacked on tanning … Then got pregnant and had a wonderful lil girl. So now I will get back in shape and also get my tan on again! So I ask your suggestions on tanning lotion. I liked the Swedish beauty (not tingle factors) and California tan lotion before. But there are so many new looking! I like a lotion with lots of bronze in it! Any suggestions! Thanks so much! PS Yes I know indoor tanning is not good for your skin! It seems like so many people now using Designer Skin's products. Black is fairly new and works well and has silicone emulsions feel silky on your skin and promote color from 20x bronze in it, and their carpets baroque is nice with RSun's Overnight Celebrity, or OC-Gossip, as Acai oil, and other anti-oxidants in that which is good for your skin. Millennium's Paint it Black is the other really popular as I currently use and have good results. It has been 50x bronzer and is probably better to use when you have a base tan depending on how dark you already!

How do you get rid of that sunless tanning lotion smell?

My wife complained about the smell of her tanning lotion. I can not really feel it personally, but she has been searching online for a way to still use her sunless tanning products, but avoid the smell, which seems to go along with it.
